So, I'm just going to take the opportunity to show off some great pics from my aunt of my uncle and cousin with their mustangs. They were in the "Extreme Mustang Makeover" and had 100 days to train their mustangs for competition. Here's my uncle and his horse. They placed 6th which wasn't too bad considering he had a mustang who was a real pain in the butt.
Here's a pic of a training exercise they did to prepare and soften the horse.
Here's my cousin who placed 4th in the competition with his horse Quirt. He admits his horse started out more gentle than his dad's but he did quite a lot of awesome work with him.
Here he his standing on his mustang in competition cracking a bullwhip . . . something I don't think I'll ever do on a truly broke horse, let alone a pretty fresh mustang. Anyway, his horse was the top sold which made for its own pretty nice prize for him!
